The US company that manufactures computer processors and chipsets has announced that it will launch the world's fastest processor next month.

The world's fastest desktop processor, dubbed the Intel Core i9-12900KS, will be launched at an online event on April 5. At the Intel Talking Tech event, personal computer makers from around the world will present their creations, including the new AlderLake chip.

The world's fastest desktop processor is capable of boasting 5.5 GHz.
